Just something I wrote after seeing a photo on here that really tugged at my emotions.....

Some pain cannot be forgotten,
Some pain we cannot hide.
The kind of hurt that wounds us deep inside.

To love someone so much,
yet somehow they're out of reach.
Distant and drifting further....
No goodbyes, no last kiss.
Memories I shall forever miss.

What if you take me with you?
Don't leave me here alone.
No longer afraid with you by my side,
gone from a world we used to hide.

I no longer feel the pain,
reach out and touch your hand.
Feeling so uplifted, we've been set free.
Demons they can't follow, try as they mite.
Gone from the world, hidden out of site.

Tragedy left behind in the emotive virgin skin.
